Dar es Salaam–Kigoma SGR Development to Strengthen Trade and Regional Connectivity
The Government of Tanzania has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing construction of the Dar es Salaam–Kigoma Standard Gauge Railway (SGR), with ongoing works on bridges and essential infrastructure. Minister for Transport Prof. Makame Mbarawa has emphasised strengthened project supervision and sustained financial support to ensure effective implementation and enhance national transport connectivity.
