NEW MNAZI BAY GAS DISCOVERY EXPECTED TO ATTRACT INVESTMENT AND SUPPORT INDUSTRIALISATION
Tanzania has announced the discovery of 223 billion cubic feet of natural gas at the Kasa Well in the Mnazi Bay Block, Mtwara Region. Energy Minister Dr. Juma Zuberi Homera said the discovery is expected to strengthen national energy security, support electricity generation, expand industrial opportunities and attract further investment in the country's natural gas sector.
